Plasma is based in a former factory in London's East End. A true studio dedicated to exploring and developing new contemporary approaches to today's environmental challenges, Plasma offers a wide range of experiences:

We invest enormous efforts into each project no matter of scale or prestige; we are simultanously working on workspace, leisure and domestic projects, special furniture, multimedia installations and large scale competition entries.

Our quest for experimentation, innovation and excellence means that we work very closely with craftmen and specialist fabricators as well as some of the best engineers.

We are writing, exhibiting and lecturing internationally. Much representational material is produced inhouse.

The scale of the office means that everyone is involved in everything.

Internships/ placements

We have a varied intake of architecture students who are looking for work experience that is not totally alien to their academic studies.

Due to the studio's full-on experimental and innovative, ie. non-commercial approach, payment can currently not be offered. Applicants should look for grants etc such as the Leonardo programme.

Applicants should be ambitious, self-motivated, open-minded, thinking and producing in 3D.

Excellent physical modelmaking, drawing and/or advanced handling of 3D software is vital.
